About the event
Welcome to the Tales from the Pomegranate Forest Book Launch in Seattle, WA!
Tales from the Pomegranate Forest is an anthology of short fantasy fiction written by Jin Zeng, Levar Liberato, C Hawthorne, Kevin Tomlin, and Tom, 5 QTBIPOC writers who took on the challenge of re-imagining fantasy through a queer lens.
We will have a roundtable conversation with featured writers Tom, Levar Liberato, and Jin Zeng moderated by Luna Merbruja. Each writer will be reading an excerpt from their stories, answering questions about their writing process, and sharing the inspiration for their work. There will also be a book signing!
At a time where queer and trans voices are being silenced, it is powerful to gather as a community to celebrate QTBIPOC writers who brought their personal experiences and world building into fantasy. We are excited for you to join us!
