All the things I didn't tell you: Letters of Longing and Loathing is a collection of short nonfiction prose. We are looking for:

​

  • A dramatic, romantic love letter to someone you wish you were with right now

  • An angsty letter about falling in/out of love for the first time

  • A breakup text you never sent but it keeps you up at night

  • A hex you're scared to put down on paper because it might come true

  • An apology to someone you wish you could make amends with

​

Submission Guidelines

  • Payment: $50 for original works, $25 for reprints

  • Word count: 500 - 2,000 words

  • Non-fiction prose only in letter format (Dear _____, Signed ______)

  • Only one round of edits will be offered, so please submit polished work!

  • Anonymous publishing is an option, please see submission form below for details

Timeline

  • November 28th, 2025: Deadline to fill out this form and submit your letter

  • December 19th, 2025: Acceptance notices are sent out with edits

  • January 16th, 2026: Final edits are due

  • December ‘25 - January ‘26: $50 payment will be sent within 48 hours of receiving the final draft

  • March 3rd, 2026: Anthology publishing date
